Good morning,
Corn net sales of 165.9 TMT for old crop were down from the previous weeks average and were the second lowest weekly total for the Current Marketing Year and below expectations by analysts coming into the report. Corn Sales have been a force since the beginning of the calendar year and are now 97% of the current USDA export estimate. Total commitments are now 56,403 TMT and sales need to average 183 TMT per week over the remaining 11 weeks in the CMY to reach this total.
Net wheat sales of 461.6 TMT were reported for the 18/19 MY. HRW total commitments have started out at the lowest total since the 06/07 MY which was just under 1 MMT. Total commitments for HRS are a little better but are still below a 5 year average.
Please see the attached reports for charts.
Have a good day.
