UNICA Sugar Output 2nd Half of June 2018

 

Sucrose per tonne of cane continues to measure above harvests of the last 7 years at 140.06 which, as you can see from the above graphic, is 7.78% above this time last year.  Cumulatively this harvest is almost 5% above last year at 129.10 KG/Tonne.  Total sugar production continues to lag beneath the 5 year avg as you can see from the chart below.  The production mix continues to remain well below harvests of the last 7 years.

 

 

Cumulative cane crushing pace is 11.6% above last year at this time and really is the highest of the last 7 years putting the crush roughly ½ a month ahead of schedule.  Cumulative ethanol production is up 45% YoY and puts production a month ahead of schedule.
